My name is Oliver Kinne, and I was born in Germany, making German my native language. I have now lived in the United Kingdom for over 25 years. So English has become the language I use most.
I have been part of the tabletop games community for over 15 years and enjoy playing pretty much any type of game. I regularly play two-player games with my wife or up to four-player games in my weekly games group.
I have also coached game designers and been a judge on game design contests. I have playtested many different games, including a number of commercially released titles.
I also have my own blog, the Tabletop Games Blog, where I release a weekly review as well as a weekly topic discussion article, I am the co-host of the board game news podcast Brainwaves, and overall I am trying to be an active and positive voice in the industry.
